Join Dissent for a special fundraiser in New York City where we will celebrate seventy years of a remarkable magazine that continues to provoke, challenge, and inspire.
Help ensure a future for the democratic left. Buy a ticket and bring a friend. Proceeds from this event will support Dissent’s Editorial Fund. In this challenging moment, we hope this event can be a productive gathering for some of the most influential organizers and intellectuals on the left. You are going to want to be in this room!
Enjoy food, drinks, live (unionized) music, a silent auction, and camaraderie. Speakers include Association of Flight Attendants President Sara Nelson, New York Times columnists Jamelle Bouie and Tressie McMillan Cottom, and Know Your Enemy co-host Matthew Sitman.
Tickets are priced in tiers because we want everyone to have the chance to attend, but do consider giving generously to support the magazine.

Subsidizes an article by a young freelance writer
Ally – $500+
Covers costs for one public event
Suggested General Admittance – $250+
One week of wages for our part-time paid intern
Advocate – $100+
Supplies the office with four months of printer ink (a limited number of tickets are available at this price)
Students – $25
